UB Plastics’ shives are designed to fit a range of standard casks used in breweries across the UK and beyond. Each size is manufactured to ensure reliable fit, secure sealing and ease of venting when required.

Materials:

• Body: LLDPE (Linear Low-Density Polyethylene)
• Sealing Band: EVA (Ethylene Vinyl Acetate)

Applications:

• Designed for use in stainless steel casks
• Compatible with selected plastic casks (please enquire for guidance)

Colour Options

Our shives are available in a selection of colour options to support batch identification, brand differentiation or operational clarity. We also offer custom printing for logos or production codes.

Packaging & Sustainability

All shives are injection moulded from high-quality virgin materials and designed for reliability and ease of use. They’re supplied in polythene-lined woven polypropylene sacks for added protection during handling and storage.
