UB Plastics takes a structured, practical approach to quality and environmental responsibility across every part of the business. From early-stage product design and tooling to high-volume moulding, printing and delivery, we follow defined processes to ensure each part meets specification, and that we minimise our impact on the world around us.
We hold two internationally recognised certifications that underpin how we operate day to day: ISO 9001:2015 for quality management, and ISO 14001:2015 for environmental management.
ISO 9001:2015 - Quality Management
We are certified to ISO 9001:2015, the internationally recognised standard for quality management. This accreditation covers key areas such as document control, supplier management, staff training, process consistency and customer satisfaction. It requires us to set clear objectives, track our performance, and maintain a documented system for reviewing and improving how we work.
These procedures are fully embedded into daily operations and backed by regular internal and external audits.
For our customers, this means we ensure a consistently reliable output at scale, reduce variability, and give all customers the confidence that their components will be delivered to the right standard, on time.
ISO 14001:2015 - Environmental Management
We are also certified to ISO 14001:2015, the internationally recognised standard for environmental management systems. This accreditation confirms we operate a structured framework for identifying, managing and reducing the environmental impact of our manufacturing, covering energy use, waste, materials, emissions and resource efficiency.
In practice, this means we continually monitor and work to reduce the impact of our moulding operations. We manage waste responsibly, including reprocessing material in-house where possible, and we work with suppliers and customers to support recycled-content and closed-loop solutions. We maintain full compliance with environmental legislation, set measurable improvement objectives, and review progress through regular internal and external audits.
For our customers, ISO 14001:2015 provides independent assurance that the components we supply are produced through an environmentally responsible process. This supports your own sustainability reporting, supply chain due diligence and ESG commitments.
